There was plenty of atmosphere and excitement during the 1.50m Prix FFE Generali in Bordeaux. In the end, it turned out to be a dream scenario for the French home crowd.

The entire podium of this 1.50m main event was French. Julien Epaillard claimed victory by a narrow margin. Epaillard and his trusted Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac) kept Julien Anquetin behind him. Epaillard and Susana Epaillard Garcia’s homebred gelding stayed about one-tenth of a second ahead of Anquetin and the 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding, Z Ice Cube Z (Zacharov, breeder: P.J. Amendt).

Third place went to Philippe Rozier, riding the 12-year-old SF mare, Dirty Sweet (Cornet Obolensky).

Just outside the top three, Steve Guerdat finished in fourth place. The Swiss rider followed with Albfuehren’s Iashin Sitte (Bamako de Muze), ahead of Marcus Ehning and Priam du Roset (Plot Blue).
