Julien Epaillard rode to victory in the CSI5* 1.55m class in Fontainebleau aboard the eleven-year-old gelding Easy Up De Grandry (by Jarnac x Qelverdie du Temple). Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet and the SF stallion Bond Jamesbond de Hay (Diamant de Semilly x Noya d'Orcival) had to concede to Germany's Hans-Dieter Dreher, who secured second place riding Vestmalle des Cotis, a son of Baloubet du Rouet.
Just off the podium, José Maria Larocca opened the top five aboard Finn Lente (Gaillard de la Pomme x Cherlynn Lente), while Piergiorgio Bucci completed the top five with Hantano (Quasimodo Z x Waranka).
