The Amadeus Grand Prix of Salzburg was built at a challenging 1.60m height. Out of nearly 40 combinations at the start, 6 duos qualified for the jump-off. Ultimately, Katharina Rhomberg secured the victory on home turf with the 12-year-old Cuma 5 (Comme Il Faut).
Rhomberg and the 12-year-old daughter of Comme I Faut (breeder: Sportpferde Merschformann) finished almost two seconds faster in the jump-off than her compatriot Markus Saurugg and the 10-year-old Obora's Crunchy Nut (Cardento). Dutchman Kevin Jochems, who had already impressed earlier this week, secured third place in this CSI4* Grand Prix with the 10-year-old Camilla van de Helle (Crumble). Jochems thereby relegated Emile Baurand with Champ (Champion) to fourth place. The top five was completed by I.Comme Tessa Vhl (Comme Il Faut).
The Belgians also made their mark. Mike van Olst achieved the best Belgian result. Van Olst jumped to seventh place with Comme Elle Faut Odth Z (Comme Il Faut). His compatriot Wilm Vermeir followed in eighth place with his own bred Top Invest 313 Z (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve).
