The evening program in Salzburg delivered top-level sports performance. There seemed to be no stopping Kevin Jochems and Konrad Bartjen's 12-year-old, Casillas van de Helle (Casall).
Jochems and the son of Casall remained at the top in the 1.50m main class of Salzburg, narrowly ahead of local rider, Katharina Rhomberg and the nine-year-old Colestus Cambridge (Colestus, breeder: Udo Grochowski). The third place went to Millie Allen and Karel Cox' Clearround Il Mondo Z (Comme Il Faut, breeder: Tim Naessens).
The pair was followed by Michael Jung who, with Fischer Duopower (Namelus R), finished ahead of Hugo Kogenig with Vermont 2 (Valentino). Koen Vereecke started at the front of the course and ultimately ended up in sixth place with his 10-year-old BWP stallion, Oilily de Muze (Vigo d'Arsouilles, breeder: Joris de Brabander & Paul Henrix).
