One time to beat after another fell in the 1.45m CSI4* evening class in Stockholm. For a moment, it looked as if Peder Fredricson was going for a repeat victory with the eight-year-old gelding, Qurious HS (Comme Il Faut x Diamant de Semilly). Ultimately, two combinations managed to improve the time of Fredricson and Linn Holm's bred gelding.
The class victory went to Kevin Staut and the Swedish-bred mare, Kannonqulan (Kannan x Quantum). The French show jumper jumped to victory with a lead of more than one second. The pair thus referred Marcus Westergren with Airco de L Esprit Z (Air Jordan Alpha Z x Quantum) to second place.
Just outside the top three followed Marlon Modolo Zanotelli in fourth place. Zanotelli and the nine-year-old Eddie G Z (Echo van 't Spieveld x Jodokus) stayed ahead of Ben Maher with Nighthawk (Stakkato Gold x Clinton).
