Kevin Staut: ‘This Grand Prix victory fuels confidence for the Olympics’

Kevin Staut turned the CSI5* competition in Dinard completely on its head today by winning the Rolex Grand Prix as the last jump-off candidate with Beau de Laubry (by Bisquet Balou vd Mispelaere). ‘Winning in front of your home crowd is always special; when you can do it right before the Olympics, of course it fuels extra confidence,’ he said afterwards.

‘It is always nice to start in Dinard. The atmosphere is good and the public sympathises enormously with all the (French) riders. I am therefore very happy that I was able to put in a great performance here today. Winning is always nice but it gets an extra golden touch when you can do it in front of your home crowd,’ said the brand-new Rolex Grand Prix winner.
