17 combinations qualified for the jump-off of the CSI4 1.55m Grand Prix. Halfway through the jump-off, Khaled Almobty jumped to the Grand Prix victory. Together with Ellen Whitaker's former 12-year-old Spacecake (Stakkatol), the Saudi Arabian show jumper narrowly beat Koen Vereecke. Earlier today, Vereecke had already secured the win in the 1.45m CSI4 class in Valkenswaard.

Belgium's Koen Vereecke competed in this Grand Prix with his 14-year-old BWP stallion, Kasanova de la Pomme. Less than one second behind was Italy's Lorenzo De Luca with his SF stallion, Cash du Plessis (Orient Express).

“It was amazing. I am very very happy and proud of my whole team.” He went on to say, “This is the second 4* Grand Prix of the Summer Festival Series and this is my second win as well. I won the first Grand Prix with Jaguar King and the second Grand Prix with the amazing Spacecake. It is always a pleasure to ride a horse like Spacecake or Jaguar King. I hope we can go for a third 4* Grand Prix win this summer here in Valkenswaard.”

It became a completely international top five at the Longines Tops International Arena. Roberto Teran Tafur finished just outside the podium with DSP Callas (Casskeni), while Kevin Jochems completed the top five in the saddle of his 10-year-old mare, Camilla van de Helle (Crumble).
