The Longines Global Champions Tour has officially unveiled its schedule for the 2026 season. Featuring a total of 17 stages, the biggest news is the addition of a spectacular new stop in Cairo, Egypt!
The Global Champions Tour season kicks off from March 4th to 7th in Doha, Qatar. Last year, it was Belgium’s Abdel Saïd who triumphed there, claiming the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix.
The highlight of the new calendar is undoubtedly the expansion into Egypt. From October 22nd to 24th, the world’s elite riders will gather in Cairo. "I am extremely pleased that the Prime Minister of Egypt, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, was keen to include this new stage on the agenda," said Jan Tops.
