Dutch showjumping star Maikel van der Vleuten has welcomed a promising new addition to his stable: the 11-year-old stallion Jesther (Cardento × Guidam). Previously competed successfully by Bas Moerings.
Van der Vleuten shared has had the stallion in his barn for two weeks already.
Bred by the Moerings family, Jesther built up an impressive record up to 1.60m level, producing consistent results at major international shows including Hickstead and Valkenswaard. Under Bas Moerings, he proved himself as one of the most reliable performers on the circuit.
Van der Vleuten, who has previously enjoyed great success with horses such as Beauville Z and O’Bailey van het Brouwershof, is now preparing for his first competitions with Jesther.
With this move, Jesther begins a new chapter in his international career, and Van der Vleuten once again adds a high-quality prospect to his world-class team.
