Home rider Marcus Westergren delivered a standout performance in Friday's CSIO5* 1m45 competition at the Falsterbo Horse Show. Riding Fellaini de Liebri Z, the Swedish rider proved untouchable against a strong international field, with the top five all finishing on a clean sheet.
Marcus Westergren secured victory aboard Fellaini de Liebri Z (Faustino de Tiji), stopping the clock in 60.36 seconds to delight the home crowd. His impressive round left the rest of the field chasing from the outset and earned Sweden another international win in Falsterbo.
Germany's Richard Vogel guided Baxxter into second place after producing another faultless performance in 62.72 seconds, while France's Megane Moissonnier completed the podium with Ici Et La Courcelle (Cocktail de Talma), crossing the finish line in 64.00 seconds.
American rider Mimi Gochman narrowly missed out on a podium finish, steering Lumiere BH (Akarad Hero Z) to fourth place in 64.34 seconds. Brazil's Yuri Mansur rounded out the top five aboard Blitz van de Molenbrug Z (Bisquet Balou C), delivering a clear round in 65.89 seconds.
