No fewer than 12 combinations qualified for the jump-off in the 1.60m World Cup in Bordeaux. In the end, Martin Fuchs took a commanding lead with his 14-year-old Conner Jei (breeder: Gerhard Stamer). Willem Greve followed in third place!
Martin Fuchs and the 14-year-old son of Connor, Conner Jei, dominated the Bordeaux World Cup. After a 12-rider jump-off, the pair finished more than two seconds ahead of Belgium’s Pieter Devos and his homebred mare, Casual DV Z (Cornet Obolensky). Devos secured second place, pushing Willem Greve into third.
The World Cup winner from Leipzig completed the podium with the 14-year-old KWPN stallion, Grandorado TN N.O.P. (Eldorado vd Zeshoek). Only these top three managed to finish the course faultlessly.
The rest of the top five had a strong French presence. Julien Anquetin and Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly) finished just outside the top three, ahead of Julien Epaillard and Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac).
