Max Kühner left no doubt about his intentions in the opening round of the Global Champions League. Riding EIC Up Too Jacco Blue (Chacco-Blue), the Austrian produced the fastest clear round of the competition, stopping the clock in an impressive 59.22 seconds. He was the only rider to break the one-minute barrier, finishing more than four seconds ahead of the rest of the field.

Behind Kühner, the fight for the podium was incredibly close. Ireland's Ciaran Nallon guided Casalla Blue PS (Casallco) to second place in 63.91 seconds, while Belgium's Annelies Vorsselmans secured a podium finish aboard VDL Kelton (Bubalu VDL) with a faultless round in 64.30 seconds.

Germany's Katrin Eckermann continued her strong form with Iron Dames Dialou Blue PS (Diarado's Boy), taking fourth place in 64.74 seconds. Sweden's Peder Fredricson rounded out the top five aboard Alcapone des Carmille (Diamant de Semilly) in 64.94 seconds.
