The Longines Global Champions Tour arrived in Ramatuelle, near St. Tropez, with the Prix Ville de Ramatuelle as the opening class of the week. The 1.60m table A competition against the clock counted toward the FEI Longines Rankings group C and served as a qualifier for the Grand Prix.
Sergio Alvarez Moya took the lead with No Nonsense TN (Hernandez TN), jumping clear in 66.43 seconds to hold off the rest of the field. Hans-Dieter Dreher followed in second place with Elysium (VDL Zirocco Blue), also without faults, in 67.86 seconds. The German rider ultimately conceded more than a second to the winner.
Third place went to Julien Anquetin riding Beau de Laubry Z (Bisquet Balou C). The Frenchman picked up four faults but posted the fastest time of the entire class at 64.31 seconds, which was enough to secure a podium finish despite the penalties.
Kristen Vanderveen completed the top four with Bull Run's Jireh (Ulriko), also on four faults, in 65.72 seconds. Fifth place went to Arthur Le Vot with Djinn Cece (New Look du Thot), finishing on four faults in a time of 66.99 seconds.
