Last week, Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida claimed victory in the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix of Montefalco. Today, the Portuguese rider repeated that success aboard Karonia.L (breeder: Th. Lemmens). Just like the previous week, Giesteira Almeida secured the win after a jump-off with nine competitors.
In this edition of the 1.55m Grand Prix of Montefalco, the pair managed to stay ahead of Billy Twomey riding Diego del Caribe (by Kannan). The Irish rider finished second, just about a second behind, followed by Theodore Boris and Cazan Z (by Comme Il Faut) in third.
Just outside the top three was Erica Ryan Swartz with Cavicii Z (by Carlow van de Helle), and completing the top five were Luca Marziani and Lightning (by Gitano).
