Anna Kellnerova has announced the sportive retirement of her 17-year-old mare, Catch Me If You Can (Catoki x Acordplus), on her social media. "I could write so much about the past six years together. We’ve written a beautiful story together," the rider shares.
Together with the 17-year-old daughter of Catoki, Kellnerova competed at the Tokyo Olympics. Additionally, the duo stood out multiple times at the CSI5* level.
Previously, the German rider Laura Klaphake also rode the mare. In 2018, the mare won the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Aachen with Klaphake. The duo also claimed the bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, USA.
"Dear Queen C, We’ve grown together over the past six years. Thanks to you, I’ve experienced so many incredible firsts, like my first Olympic Games. Your perseverance and strength have always amazed me. You are truly one in a thousand. I sincerely want to thank you for being the horse that gave me so much. I hope you will enjoy the peace of the green pastures!"
