The fourth leg of the Jumping World Cup has just wrapped up. At the Stuttgart German Masters, the final day revolved entirely around an impressive field of riders chasing valuable ranking points on the road to the Final in Fort Worth. In the end, it was Willem Greve who secured a brilliant victory.
Greve proved that the last can indeed be first. Entering the arena as the final combination, he and Pretty Woman van't Paradijs N.O.P. (Vigo d’Arsouilles) delivered a decisive round with one clear goal. Their faultless 44.62 seconds put them well ahead and sealed an outstanding win.
Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida and Karonia.L (Harley) came very close. The Portuguese rider executed a well calculated plan in the jump off, producing a clean 45.08 seconds. Despite the strong performance, it was just short of overtaking Greve, leaving them in an impressive second place.
Peder Fredricson and Alcapone des Carmille (Diamant de Semilly) impressed with a composed and powerful jump off. Their clear 45.29 seconds secured a well deserved third place.
France entered the top five through Kevin Staut and Visconti du Telman (Toulon). Their faultless 46.47 seconds earned them fourth. Fifth place went to Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs and L and L Lorde (Clyde Lvb Z), who also stayed clear in 47.00 seconds.
