At a height of 1.40m, Emanuele Gaudiano jumped to victory in the CSI4* on home soil! He secured the win aboard the KWPN gelding Jaja (VDL Zirocco Blue).
Emanuele Gaudiano and the eleven-year-old VDL Zirocco Blue son, Jaja, jumped to victory this evening in the CSI4* 1.40m class in Lido di Camaiore! Fellow Italian rider Francesco Turturiello secured second place with Cornetto 60 (Cormint x Argentinus), ahead of Mariano Ossa, who completed the podium with RR Carcom (Cornet du Lys x Cardento).
Just off the podium, Swiss rider Barbara Schnieper finished fourth aboard Coco G Z (Cornet Obolensky x Contendro I), while Arnaldo Bologni claimed fifth place with D Mark 2 (Dollar du Murier x Cordobes II).
Just one class earlier, Belgian rider Gudrun Patteet claimed victory in the CSI4* 1.35m class! The Belgian rider, aboard the BWP mare Sea Coast Monalisa van 't Paradijs (Bamako de Muze x Emerald, breeder: Johan Rooms - Vandenbranden), delivered a clear round with a time of 66 seconds on the clock. Just a few hundredths of a second later, Italian rider Roberto Previtali crossed the finish line riding Qashquai SB (Arezzo VDL x Ramino), placing ahead of Michael Viehweg. Viehweg completed the podium aboard Cyrill, a son of Comme Il Faut.
