In Spain, the duo—who had previously taken part in two 1.30m classes at a CSI 2* in Valkenswaard—clocked the fastest round in a 1.45m Speed class counting toward the Longines World Rankings.

The twelve-year-old mare, previously ridden by Germany's Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (with whom she competed at the CSI 5* events in Shanghai, Hamburg, and Aachen), left all the rails in place alongside her new rider, stopping the clock at 61.17 seconds.

Representing Belgium, Constant Van Paesschen finished second aboard Diaz du Thot (SF, Ready Boy des Forêts × Diams du Grasset) in 61.54 seconds. With a time of 62.46 seconds aboard Quick Diamant HR (BWP, Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel), Britain's Millie Allen took third place.
