In 2013, De Azevedo was entrusted with the ride on Comic. In 2014, at just seven years old, the pair finished sixth at the World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. Together, they achieved podium finishes in five-star Grand Prix competitions, including the CSIO5* 1.60m Longines Grand Prix in Samorin (2018), the CSI5* 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix in Wellington (2018), and the CSI5* 1.60m Fidelity Investments Grand Prix in Wellington (2017).

In 2018, Comic was part of the Brazilian team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon. They were selected for the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, but unfortunately had to withdraw due to an injury to the stallion.

De Azevedo describes Comic as a “once-in-a-lifetime horse” and highlights the special bond they shared. The horse is remembered as an icon of Brazilian showjumping.
