Scholtjens on top in Grand Prix Freestyle Mechelen

The last class for the international dressage riders has just ended: the Grand Prix Freestyle of the World Cup. Yesterday it was Emmelie Scholtens who took home the victory in the Grand Prix Saint Georges and today she won again.


Emmelie Scholtens saddled Desperado N.O.P. (f. Vivaldi), a 11-year old KWPN stallion. Their freestyle got rewarded with 85,075% bij the judges. Second place went to Maria Caetano. She rode Coroado (f. Rubi) to an overall total of 80,940%. Caetano already got some good results yesterday with this stallion during the last years World Cup. 

Juan Matute Guimon took account of the third place with Quantico (f. Fighting Fit). They scored 80,510%. Morgan Barbancon Mestre, who ended on fifth place yesterday, ended fourth today. She saddled Sir Donnerhal II OLD (f. Sandro Hit) and got an overall score of 79;780%. Charlotte Fry and Dark Legend (f. Zucchero) completed the top five.
