Last weekend, Firefox Gem (Chacco Rouge x Kannan) made his debut in Leipzig under the saddle of Brazilian rider Marlon Zanotelli. Last month, the Chacco Rouge offspring moved to Ashford Farm.
The 10-year-old stallion was trained over the past two years by Régis Bouguennec. At the end of last year, the pair impressed by securing 5th place in the CSI4* Grand Prix of Saint-Lô.
"Régis did a fantastic job with our stallion. When Enda Carroll approached us, we decided together with Régis to entrust him to Marlon," said Elise Mégret of Haras de Clarbec. "Marlon took him to a training session in Opglabbeek once before officially debuting him last week in Leipzig. Firefox is a classic horse with great ability and blood! His excellent character completes the picture. We hope that at Ashford Farm he can truly develop at CSI5* level."
