BWP & KWPN dominate WBFSH ranking

imagesThe new WBFSH ranking, based on the results between 1 october 2012 till 31 march 2013 Tamino and London triumph in the showjumping ranking. Both horses gathered 800 points and are followed by Clarissa Crotta's West Side van Meerputhoeve (s. Baloubet du Rouet) who ended third. Roger-Yves Bost's Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois (s. Dollar du Murier) ended fourth. On the Dressage ranking it is Adelinde Cornelissen's Jerich Parzival who leads with 2,767 points. Damon Hill NRW (s. Donnerhall) is second followed by Depserados FRH (s. De Niro). Concluding that in both showjumping and dressage the Dutch riders compete with the leading horses. However when having a closer look to the stud-books it is the Belgian Warm Bred (BWP) that leads the show-jumpers as a studbook. Having 'produced' the number one (London) and number three (West Side) the BWP gather enough points to put the KWPN in a second place. The best scoring individual KWPN-horse is the shared number one Tamino. Also number eight (Silvana HDC, s. Corland) is a KWPN-bred. Selle-Français is third best, including the number four Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois. With the dressage horses it is the German Hannoveraner Verband that dominates the ranking. The Hannoveraner Verband includes the numbers three, four and five being Desperados, Don Auriello and Don Johnson. The KWPN studbook ends in a second place, thanks to the number one Parzival, while the Westphalian studbook is third. for the ranking : click here © WBFSH/ equnews.com
