Last Saturday a barn of the riding centre Kikkert in the Dutch town de Koog went up in flames. At the moment the fire started five horses were stabled in the barn, however the owners managed to put the horses to safety in time.
The fire started around 20.30 o'clock. In less than an hour the complete barn went up in flames. The local fire department needed until 23.00 o'clock to control and mainly extinguish the fire. Approximately 4 years ago the same riding centre burned completely due to a short circuit. The cause of the incident this time is not known yet.
