The international showjumper, Zeta de Hus (s. Zandor) has been euthanized last Saturday during the Sunshine Tour. Under the saddle of French rider Michel Robert Zeta broke one her hinterlegs while riding the small Grand Prix. The mare was guided outside the arena but after a veterinary inspection it was decided to euthanize the horse.
"To euthanize Zeta was the only option," explains Michel Robert. "Everything was going so well, nobody could predict this catastrophe." Zeta de Hus also has been ridden by Kevin Staut in the past. She became 13 years old.
