Christian Ahlmann and Querido VG are the new World Champions in the 5-year olds!

In Lanaken the first final of the World Championship for young horses was on the programme: the one for 5-year-old horses. 16 Combinations could qualify for the jump-off. In the jump off it soon became clear that nobody would give up easily. Arnaud Gaublomme with Quabriolet van het Bildeken (by Anakin van Schuttershof) was the first to have a clear round. The duo finished in 39.40 seconds. This set the tone for the other combinations. In the end this would still bring him second place. 

Christian Ahlmann with the Dominator 2000 Z son Querido VG Z can call himself the new world champion. They left all the competition far behind by jumping a clear round in 37.49 seconds. Nicole Eggens and Loharna-P (by Carrera VDL) completed the top three. They had a clear round and finished in 40.99 seconds.

Jason Foley (Killossery Karma) and Emily Sage (Vogue TW) took home respectively the fourth and fifth place.
