Victory for Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida in Longines Ranking Hubside

  • by Equnews Editorial
  • 11-09-2020

The ranking class of the CSI4* competition has just been jumped in Hubside. The fences were built up to 1m50 and there was a jump-off. Nine riders managed to qualify for that jump-off and in the end the Portugese rider Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida was the fastest. He counted on Delvaux (f. Chacco-Blue) to clear the jump-off in 39,39 seconds. Gregory Cottard and Bibici (f. Norman Pre Noir) ended on second place. They kept the zero on the score board in 39,73 seconds. For Roberto Turchetto and My Cool Passion there was a third placed. The Italian rider managed to jump a clear round with the 12-year old gelding and finished in 41,17 seconds.

Only the top three managed to keep the zero on the score board. The fastest time came from Yuri Mansur. He counted on Ibelle Ask (f. Verdi) to finish in 37,14 seconds. Unfortunately his BWP-mare got one penalty for jumping. Paul Delforge and Britney du Banney (f. Marius Claudius) completed the top five.
