Canturano moves to Zangersheide
It is beginning to be a tradition, immediately after the WC Young Horses in September Studfarm Zangersheide starts its autumn search for new stallions. Many breeders are eagerly looking out for the new stars that will be added to the stables in Lanaken. Studfarm Zangersheide now reveals the first new name for the breeding season 2017: the impressive Canturano Z.

Canturano Z is a son of Canturo out of a daughter of Coriano Z, one of the favourites at Zangersheide. Former stallion was active in the sport under Wout Jan van der Schans but had to terminate his sport career prematurely in connection with the closing of Stal Eurocommerce. But Canturano Z did not miss out on his career in breeding. His oldest products are 9-yr-olds by now and make that their sire is shooting up in the rankings for young sires.

More than 60 of his products are already active in the international sport, such as Daimler (dam’s sire Lupicor) jumping at 5* level under Werner Muff, Cliff Z (dam’s sire Quasimodo Z) jumping the Global Tour circuit under Bassem Hassan Mohammed and Dalli Dalli 6 (Indoctro) who moved from Clarissa Crotta to Holger Hetzel.

Canturano Z is well-known for passing on his extremely handsome appearance and his almost perfect jumping manners with fast forelegs. In addition, his offspring display the right attitude for breaking through in the sport to the highest level.

Canturano Z has already moved in at Zangersheide to join other stars such as Levisto Z, Cicero Z and Aktion Pur Z. Like his new colleagues he will be available every day from 15 February to provide fresh semen.
