A total of 34 combinations took the start in the 1.45/1.50m Prix de Casino advancing the LGCT Grand Prix.  In the end it was the current LGCT leader, Christian Ahlmann who confirmed his form. Aboard the 10-year-old Cornet Obolensky-son, Caruso, Ahlmann stopped the clock in 56.87 seconds, claiming the win.

Over two seconds slower Brasil's Marlon Zanotelli followed as runner-up with Ashford Farm's Madam Butterfly (by Corrado I). Belgium's Pieter Devos tacked up his championshorse, Equipharma Dax van d'Abdijhoeve. The pair crossed the finish in 59.55 seconds, finishing third.

Only six combinations crossed the finish faultless. The top five was completed by Janne Frederike Meyer (Charlotta) in fourth and Lauren Hough (Street Hassle) in fifth.
