The Swiss number one of the world, talked about the way he normally likes to train right before lockdown. "I try to focus on flatword with my horses", he said.
"That's why I spend a lot of time with Beezie Madden the last year. I know she also thinks flatwork is super-important and by watching her train, I got some new ideas. At home, I can count on the help of several riders who are focussing on dressage. I'm very thankful to them since I can't always ride all my horses myself if I'm competing. They make sure that my horses keep their good form. Actually I almost never jump my older horses besides during competitions".
