El Barone 111 was at the top of the Belgian Stallion Competition as a four and five year old, and as a 6 year old he finished 2nd in the overall rankings. As a 7 year old he again finished second in the overall standings and started his international career. Malin Baryard-Johnsson became the new rider of El Barone 111 in 2021. Together they achieved results up to international 5* 160 level before Jens Fredricson took over the reins.
El Barone 111 Z combines enormous scope with spectacular jumping technique. His strong canter and sharpness combined with his desire to always jump around clear makes him a modern sport horse.
Offspring
His first offspring are currently making name on the international level. Particularly striking is the number of approved sons with no fewer than 14 approved stallions registered in studbooks throughout Europe. In 2023, no fewer than 12 sons of El Barone 111 Z were at the start of the 2nd phase of the BWP stallion licensing: an absolute record and a very clear sign that he passes on his quality and health to his offspring!
His eldest and probably most famous approved son is Extreme 111 Z, partly due to his very convincing performances in this year's Stallion Competition for 6-year-olds, where he finished 2nd in the final rankings, just like his father.
Pedigree
His father Emerald needs no introduction. His mother Naktibro jumped successfully at 150 level and is the sister to two approved stallions, including Guidam Sohn.
His dam's father Libero H was very successful in the sport with Jos Lansink in the saddle and is also very successful with his offspring. The third generation includes the well-known breeding stallion Zeus, who left behind countless top sport horses and approved stallions.
El Barone 111 is available fresh daily and is approved by SWB, BWP, SF and Zangersheide. He is free from WFFS.
