Triumphs, drama and the gender gap: All about the past weekend in the new Horse Bytes

This week, Dani G. Waldman goes wild and dives into a weekend of unparalleled highs and dramatic lows in the world of five-star show jumping. From record-breaking victories to unexpected twists and turns - you don't want to miss this.

Geneva was all about Martin Fuchs, who scored no less than three impressive victories and made his mark on one of the most prestigious competitions of the year. After no less than 11 (!) second places, Harrie Smolders finally managed to put a five-star Grand Prix to his name. Perseverance pays off!

Conor Swail dominates the MLSJ Finals

At the same time, Conor Swail gave a flawless performance in the Major League Show Jumping Finals and once again proved why he belongs to the top of the sport.

But aside from all the spectacle and victories, this week we also address a pressing problem in the sport: the gender gap. With only 10% female riders in Geneva and only three women in the Grand Prix, we take a deeper look at the underrepresentation of women at the highest level. Watch our exclusive interviews with Erynn Ballard and Giulia Martinengo Marquet as they share their experiences and perspectives on this challenge.
