Abdel Said makes promising debut with new horse

Egypt's show jumping rider, Abdel Said has added a new talent to his string of horses. Last week Said made his debut with Chakira at the international CSI4* in Samorin. The new combination took home a price in the 1.45m opening class. The 11-year-old KWPN-daughter of VDL Sheraton is from the same damline as Axiana (Marlon). This mare was produced at an international level by Anouk Kort and is currently competing up to an international 1.45m level with Sweden's Sofia Westborg. Until last month, Chakira was competed by Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer. Before it was Rachael Fields competing the mare in the CSI3* World Cup classes in Canada and the USA.
