Also Zirocco Blue N.O.P. out for Nations Cup Rotterdam

It's a bad week for the international show jumping. Tomorrow the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup is scheduled at the CHIO in Rotterdam. Yesterday we already reported Ryan des Hayettes won't be competing for France. Now Jur Vrieling's top horse, VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P. has to forfait. The grey stallion didn't seem to be fit this morning. After negotiating with the team, the rider has decided to forfait Zirocco's participation for the Netherlands in Rotterdam. Jur Vrieling can still count on Arezzo VDL and Carerra VDL for the other international classes. For the Nations Cup leg it will be Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Zidane who take in Vrieling's place. The Dutch team can also count on World Champion, Jeroen Dubbeldam (SFN zenith N.O.P.), Gerco Schröder (Glock's Cognac Champblanc) and Maikel van der Vleuten (VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P.).
