After the first round in the FEI Nations Cup in Sopot, the Dutch show jumping squad took the lead as only clear team. However the second round made a big switch in the ranking and eventually it were the Belgium show jumping devils who claimed the win.

It came to an exciting Jump-Off between Belgium and Ireland. First to go in this Jump-Off was Ireland's Paul O'Shea aboard his 12-year-old KWPN-gelding, Skara Glen's Machu Picchu (Silverstone). The pair finished in 46.97 seconds, jumping one rail down, leaving it to Belgium's Pieter Devos to make a clear finish. Devos guided his 14-year-old Apart (Larino) faultless through thhe jumps securing the victory for Belgium.

For Belgium both Gudrun Patteet - competing with Sea Coast Valdelamadre Clooney (Centeuer Z) and Pieter Devos (Apart) produced a double clear round. Niels Bruynseels jumped only one rail down in the first round in the saddle of Delux van T&L (Toulon), while Yves Vandehasselt and his 10-year-old Jeunesse (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) had twice one rail down.

Ireland followed with as well 4 points while France claimed the third place in this Nations Cup.
