This week the top of the world travels to Sankt Gallen, Switzerland for the FEI furusiyya Nations Cup or the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show in St. Tropez, France. The latter is an exceptional show jumping event. The choice of venue is the famous beach of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle, on the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. Swedish show jumping rider, who is based in Germany, Mathilda Karlsson shares her LAOHS experience with us. Yesterday her horses arrived safely at the show ground, now it all starts ... "My horses arrived safe and sound in st. Tropez last night the 1th of June. They started the journey at 03.00am from Hamburg the 30th of May. Horses arrived in Strassburg 10 hours later for the first stop." "I brought 4 horses with me down to the South of France, I will leave 2 of them with one groom in Villeneuve Loubet for the weekend, although that is the plan. Today is the first show day and I'm super excited to be back in St. Tropez. Showing under a bright sun in a beautiful set-up. This is my third time here at the Longines Athina Onassis Horses Show, and I like it every year a little bit more." "St. Tropez itself is one of those fantastic places on earth, and the horse show is 'soooooo' well organized! My first start will be at 10.00am today, so please keep your fingers crossed for me, Candy and Lancetti and I will keep you up dated how my day was."
