Earlier last week the famous Lord Z passed away, now another breeding icon is no more. The young talented Latour VDM (by Darco) has passed away. About two years ago, Latour became champion at the Belgian Warmblood Stallion Approvals. The sire was currently stabled in the Netherlands with Team Nijhof. Latour was bred by the Bruggeman family and produced by Belgium's Walter Lelie. The stallion had to undergo several surgeries because of a hernia with fatal consequences. Latour's mother is Everly Chin de la Pomme (by Malito de Rêve). His half-brother Kasanova de la Pomme (by Bamako de Muze) also won the BWP stallion approvals.
