Calcourt Falklund to Onyschenko

Ukrainian billionair, Alexander Onyschenko has bought Michael Whitaker's Calcourt Falklund. The grey horse debuted earlier this year in its first Nations Cup competition. The 10-year-old gelding finished sixth in the Nations Cup in Hickstead and earlier first in Falsterbo's Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup. The son of Oklund got his first international experience under the saddle of Lauren Edwards. A fourth place at the three-star event in Birmingham during the Fence challenge was their best result. At the same competition they also finished fifth in the 1.50m's. This weekend Calcourt Falklund will start with his new rider at the CSIO in Gijon, Spain.
