Christan Ahlmann 'out' after fall in Mexico

Germany's Zangersheide-rider, Christian Ahlmann had to stop his competition in Mexico early last weekend. At the Longines Global Champions Tour, Ahlmann fell in the 1.55m class.

Ahlmann took the start aboard Solid Gold Z (Stakkato Gold), but did fall out of the saddle. He broke his wrist and is now forced to take a rest. According to the German showjumping rider it will take at least six weeks before he'll be back in the saddle.

Ahlmann was did undergo surgery in Mexico and arrived in Europe on Tuesday.
