After a couple of days of bad weather the Longines Spring Classic of Flanders has made its final decision concerning Friday's FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup. Yesterday the organising committée announced the cancellation of the CSI1* classes on Wednesday. This morning also the CSI2* classes were cancelled after only 2 combinations appeared in the arena. In a perfect condition the CSIO Nations Cup league would have started on thursday. Due to the bad weather the FEI, Peter Postelmans and his team have now decided to cancel the CSIO and thus the first NAtions Cup leg of the FEI Furusiyya Europe Nations Cup series Devision I. If the CSI1*, 2* and Belgian Championships for 7-year-old horses will continue the next days is yet to be decided.
