Didjy Doda auctioned for 75,000 Euro

Today the World Championships for Young Horses in Zangersheide concluded with the first of two auction nights. Top sale was the son of Dominator 2000 Z, Didjy Doda Z. The stallion was auctioned for no less than 75,000 Euro. A record amount for the Z-Quality Auction. At the Z-festival, earlier this year, Didjy Doda won as youngest foal ever. Dominator Z is the son of Diamant de Semilly and Cephale 2000 (by Cassini I).  Mother of Didjy Doda Z is Silvester van Indorado, sold by Stal Hnedrix to Canadian Yann Candele. However an injury brought her back to Belgium. Clarensis E Z (Cornet Obolensky x Contender) was second most expensive, being auctioned for 50,000 Euro. Grey-stallion Castro de Hus Z (Cornet Obolensky x Baloubet du Rouet) followed for a price of 36,000 Euro.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq1z2YZDoSA
