It isn't the best time of the year for Swedish show jumper, Douglas Lindelöw. His top horse, Casello has ended in the middle of a legal battle. Since his 3-years-old the Casall-gelding has been ridden by Douglas Lindelöw. It is as a pair they worked together to the top of the international sport. Only this year already they were a part of Sweden's team at the European Championships in Aachen and representatives at the FEI World Cup finals in Las Vegas. This year the co-owner of the horse made a legal request to the city court in order to sell the horse – but in late November the proceedings were put on hold. “We have been trying to secure the horse for Douglas, but our offers are constantly rejected even though they are significant." states the Lindelöw family to World Of Showjumping. "Now, Douglas has been refused to compete Casello - making the matters even worse. To say that the situation around Casello is chaotic, would be to put it mildly"
