€ 100,000 for Auction horse in Westfalen

Last Sunday the Winter Auction of the German Westfaler Studbook raised a total of about 800,900 Euros. Auctioning in total 15 young horses (3 years old) and 33 older horses this brings the median price to 16,685 Euros. Top horse of the auction was the 4-years-old Be My Love (Basic x Fiderglanz I). The horse was sold for €100,000 to Austria. The 4 year old Fuego (by First Selection) followed in a second place, being auctionned for 36,000 Euros.
