Erica Swartz leaves Studfarm vd Helle

The 24-year-old Swedish show jumper, Erica Swartz, has put an end to her time at Paul Mais' Van de Helle Stables, located in Belgium. For over three years, Swartz was the stable and comeptition rider for Paul Mais. "Today is my last day at the Van De Helle Studfarm. I worked hard to bring the young horses up to the current (Grand Prix) level they are competing at. I have had an amazing time and love all the horses I've ridden. I hope the new rider will share the same love as I did," states Swartz. Swartz mainly competed at an international CSI 2* and 3*-level. Earlier this year the Swedish also had the opportunity to compete at the CSI5* in Gotenborg, Sweden. Erica will take a fresh start riding independent. The show jumper hopes to get more opportunities as such. "Paul always supported me and we end in good terms. However I need to think about my professional career as well. The participation at the CSIO in Gotenborg opened my eyes and possibilities in this sport."
