Flora and Pénélope retire from the Nations Cup team in La Baule

Flora de Mariposa will probably not compete in the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup in La Baule, France. The For Pleasure-daughter was selected with her rider, Pénélope Leprevost. Yesterday Flora was not presented in the veterinarian check because she limped a bit. "On Tuesday everything went fine. Yesterday however Flora started to limp," states Geneviève Mégret, the horse-owner. "Flora is not badly injured, but so far the cause is unknown. If she becomes better after the treatments she will probably jump some courses this week-end. The Nations Cup however is another story." Flora de Mariposa will undergo the veterinarian check today. For the French team it will be Philippe Rozier who will replace Pénélope Leprevost.
