Show jumping competition for the European Championships in Goteburg, Sweden, begins on August 23, 2017. Over 300 of Europe’s top equestrian riders and drivers will meet at the event from August 21-27, 2017 in Goteburg, Sweden, to compete for medals in Jumping, Dressage, Driving and Para-Equestrian Dressage. In total, competitors from around thirty countries, 590 horses, 4,000 accredited participants and 1400 volunteers will be involved in the event. Today the official rider and horse list has been announced by the FEI. A total of 26 nations will be represented. 17 Nations will be competing added with nine individuel riders.
