Gaudiano takes winning start at Jumping Amsterdam

Today the CSI5* program kicked-off in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. Italy's showjumping rider, Emanuele Gaudiano took a winning start in the CSI5* program, conquering the 1.45m class aboard his 9-year-old Vasco  (Vivant). In front of his home crowd, Frank Schuttert followed with only a minor time difference.

Gaudiano and his 9-year-old stallion were the only to produce a clear round in under 56 seconds. With less than half a second difference, Frank Schuttert followed as runner-up aboard his 10-year-old KWPN-horseIrish Coffee PR (Emerald). Compatriot, Harrie Smolders completed the top three.

The Dutch rider guided his 11-year-old Emerald-son, Escape Z faultless to the third spot, leaving Sanne Thijssen (NED) in a fourth place.

Thijssen placed aboard Hi There (Nabab de Rêve), while Sweden's Linda Heed completed the top five with the Zangersheide-gelding, Calvin FP Z (Calvados Z).
