Eleven combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.60m Longines Grand Prix in Wiesbaden. Only four pairs managed to produce a double clear. Fastest time was set by Dutch Marc Houtzager and his 15-year-old KWPN-mare, Sterrehof's Dante N.O.P.
Aboard the daughter of Canturano the Dutch showjumper was the only clear in under 39 seconds. In front of his home crowd, Hans-Dieter Dreher followed as runner-up with only 0,04 seconds difference. The German rider placed with his 11-year-old Cous Cous (Cachas), while Max Wachman (IRL) completed the stage with his 11-year-old Kilkenny (Cardento 933).
Also clear, compatriot Cian O'Connor followed in a fourth spot aboard the 9-year-old Tipperary (Arko). The top five was completed by Argentina's José Maria Larocca and his Finn Lente (Gaillard de la Pomme). Aboard the 13-year-old KWPN-gelding, the Argentinian rider earlier won the 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier on Sunday.
