Marc Houtzager's Holy Moley 'out' after injury

Yesterday Marc Houtzager his top horseHoly Moley (Verdi) was injured in Aachen. After jumping the last fence in the 1.55m class, Holy Moley crossed the finish on 3 legs and was transported by a horse ambulance.

Holy Moley will now be forced to rest to recover and won't be able to compete for a while. According to Houtzager the injury is a result of bad luck. Nothing is broken and further research must clarify the exact injury.

"It did put a damper on my mood," says Houtzager to our editor on the spot. "I have decided not to compete in the Grand Prix and return home, this is best for Holy Moley..."
