Marlon Zanotelli's Harwich VDL sold to Geir Gulliksen

Marlon Modolo Zanotelli has announced the sale of the 11-year-old Harwich VDL (Arezzo VDL). In the future it will be Norway's Geir Gulliksen competing the gelding. Recently Gulliksen announced the sale of his tophorse, Grandino H.

Zanotelli and Harwich VDL jumped up to the highest level in our sport. The pair placed third in the CSIO5* 1.60m King George V Gold Cup in Hickstead and won earlier this year the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Arezzo.

The gelding was before produced at an international level by VDL Stud-rider, James Billington. In 2021 Zanotelli took over the reins. Harwich VDL was still owned by the Dutch based VDL Stud. "We are extremely happy he moves to the Gulliksen family. This will allow him to continue show his potential at the highest level in our sport," the team reacts.
