In Falsterbo, Martin Fuchs and his trusted, Conner Jei impressed not only on Friday in the Nations Cup but also on Sunday, claiming the Longines Grand Prix. "Connor Jei is just a fantastic horse!" concludes the Swiss showjumper.
"As I already said before, he can get hot, my main task is to control him and don't get him to excited, but he's such a phenomenal jumper," Fuchs continues. "Here in Falsterbo everything was just right. The arena is big and courses have a lot of space. This allows me to work on the trust between Conner Jei and myself and focus on the course from fence to fence. To top this all, the warm up is big as well. Combined with good stables, Conner just had a good feeling, marking his turf and showing his worth."
As a rider, Fuchs enjoyed competing in Falsterbo. "The feeling is sensational. Already on the first day, the arena gives you a magic feeling. The crowd is enthusiastic and the jumps are original. This is a nice way to compete and motivates to go the extra mile."
